DBS TRUCKS is a Polish family business with values

After our first daughter was born, the dream of starting my own business also began to grow in the back of my mind. The idea came to life in 2007, with me saying goodbye to a government-owned company after fifteen years to found DBS TRUCKS. Customers sometimes ask where the name comes from. It comes from the first letters of our names — mine, my wife’s and our firstborn daughter’s.

I started with nothing. Not in a garage like Steve Jobs but in just one room, with a head full of ideas as to what my company should be like. At first, I worked alone. Several years later, Artur joined the team and has been with us ever since.

Humble as my beginnings were, with many hurdles along the road, my dream became reality. For three years now, the company has been run from new, much larger headquarters in Sarzyna, with a couple of staff on the payroll.
